The University of Idaho Child & Youth Study Center
The University of Idaho Child & Youth Study Center was established to provide a broad range of educational and mental health services to children and families in the communities of the Palouse region.
Through a collaborative effort between the University of Idaho and Washington State University, our mission is to help educate families and other professionals about youth, as well as to help parents and children who may benefit psychological services.
Psychologists and graduate students in the field of psychology, who are trained in working with children that have a variety of needs, provide consultations, assessments, counseling, parent training, and educational seminars. We work collaboratively with parents, physicians, schools, and other professionals in the region to provide the highest quality services as a team.
Within the web pages provided here, parents and professionals are encouraged to learn more about our services, to find out about the types of mental health issues we work with, and to hopefully have some important questions answered.
