How you can help!
Give to the University of Idaho Child & Youth Study Center
Your gift to the University of Idaho Child & Youth Study Center program creates an opportunity for individuals without resources to receive critically needed services that would otherwise be unavailable to them within the community.
Monetary gifts to the Child & Youth Study Center provide resources to purchase “state-of-the-art” assessment instruments and therapeutic tools. Through grants and donations, the Child & Youth Study Center has been able to build a library of “gold-standard” assessment instruments dealing with Pervasive Developmental Disorders, Learning Disabilities, language disorders, and behavioral disorders. These instruments enable the Center to provide services that often surpass the average level of assessment available in schools and the community. With the funds received through your donations, these services are made available to families with limited resources at drastically reduced prices, determined according to the individuals needs of the family and their ability to pay.
The University of Idaho Child & Youth Study Center accepts donations of other resources, as well. Computers and other computing accessories (printers, scanners, software, etc.) are welcome and utilized within the therapy sessions, as well as in the assessment process.
